NL Amsterdam: August 19th at Brasil Music Bar
No better way to have started off Rotterdam Summer Carnival with the first edition of Waistline Shotz "Groovy Sundayz" on Sunday July 22nd at Brasil Music Bar Amsterdam.
The evening was officially opened with a Groovy Soca set by DJ Jizza accompanied by complementary Jell-O-Shotz. After a nice warm-up session, D' Soca Lyon took over to turn up the heat with some nice Crop Over. After a second set by DJ Jizza it was time for DJ Fiber who was also invited to come help shell down while Jizza continued hosting the event. Some official video footage has been recorded of the madness that went down at Brasil Bar which should be released next week.

Sherman Hemsley, who played the brash George Jefferson on "All in the Family" and "The Jeffersons," died Tuesday at 74, his booking agent said.
Hemsley played Jefferson, a wisecracking owner of a dry cleaning business, on "All In the Family" from 1973 until 1975, when the spinoff "The Jeffersons" began an 11-season run on CBS.

While on his 2014 European Tour dancehall artist Tommy Lee Sparta made the most of his time and recorded the video for his sexy hit “Pat it Up”. Dancehall Explorer met up with Tommy Lee Sparta and his team to take an exclusive look behind the scenes of the video shoot in Rotterdam.
The video was directed and shot by Wayne South, a video director famous for directing videos for artists such as Vybz Kartel and I Octane. South was flown in from Kingston to Rotterdam and did not have much time for sightseeing as he was working on the set the day after he touched ground in the Netherlands. Even though it was hard to find dancehall dancers available on such short notice, we could still count on
