Rotterdam, 29 juli - Na hun debuutdeelname in 2019 is Awókey Mas er trots op om in 2023 weer op pad te zijn voor Rotterdams zomercarnaval. Dit jaar bundelde Julien Werleman, de groepsleider en DJ van Awókey Mas, de krachten met Suzanne La Serpe om kinderen om ook mee te doen aan de straatparade Rotterdam Carnaval. Suzanne heeft jarenlange ervaring in het werken met kinderen, aangezien zij leiding gaf aan de kinderafdeling van carnavalsgroep La Differentia. Ze werd echter gedwongen een nieuwe groep te vinden om mee samen te werken nadat La Differentia had besloten de activiteiten stop te zetten.

Rotterdam, July 29th - After their debut participation back in 2019, Awókey Mas is proud to be back on the road for Rotterdam Carnival in 2023. This year Julien Werleman, the group leader and DJ for Awókey Mas joined forces with Suzanne La Serpe to enable kids to also participate in the Rotterdam Carnival street parade. Suzanne has years of experiences working with kids as she used to manage the children’s section for carnival group La Differentia.  She was however forced to find a new group to work with after La Differentia decided to cease operations.

After being restricted from all outside activities and events for well over two years. Were are very pleased to finally be able to continue celebrating our Caribbean culture. Unfortunately for us as a start-up band there were too many complications to be able to participate with Rotterdam Carnival this summer. As a result we've decided to postpone our journey as a masband for Rotterdam Carnival. Be sure to stay tuned as we prepare for the return of the Freedom Limerz in 2023.

This intuitive knowing of life cannot be grasped as a concept. Rather, it is known through actual living experience of one's everyday being. Its name, Tao or Dao, came from Chinese, where it signifies the way, path, route or road. With the return of the Freedom Limerz on the “road” for carnival, we will work towards restoring this natural order as Awókey Mas has a completely different way of doing things when it comes to liming on the road.

As we're all going through these difficult times with governments around the world enforcing all kind of crazy rules and regulations for social distancing, we must never loose hope or focus!

However please always remember.... TRUE Healthjust like Happiness or even Prosperity still comes from within. It always has and always will!

With is why our advice remains the same:

• Eat Healthy: Minimize the consumption of meat/dairy and maximize consumption of natural grains, seeded fruits and vegetables. Hard to stay away from meat and diary products? Introduce a meatless/diary-less day into your diet and detox your system at least a few times a year. (avoid GMO's, seedless and if possible even hybrid foods) 
• Exercise & Hydrate: When we consume meat, diary and hybrid fruits and vegetables on a regular bases (especially industry based) we expose our body to many toxins including carcinogens, hormones and starch. It goes without saying that these have a huge impact on our health. One way of cleansing your system is to drink plenty of mineral water (as you know the higher percentage of the body is composed of water). When you drink plenty of water followed by exercise it helps rid your organs and muscles of toxins which in-turn improve the functioning of your immune system. 
• Reduce Stress & Laugh: Last but not least... Rid your mind of stress and fear. Stress and fear causes the body to operate in a fight-or-flight response, causing the brain to direct more blood to the primary organs (reserved for fighting our fleeing). As a result other organs  (e.g. stomach, kidney) will no longer operate optimal causing the functioning of the immune system to
