Groovy Sundayz Report & Announcement Of Second NHC Edition
Amsterdam: August 19th at Brasil Music Bar
No better way to have started off Rotterdam Summer Carnival with the first edition of Waistline Shotz "Groovy Sundayz" on Sunday July 22nd at Brasil Music Bar Amsterdam.The evening was officially opened with a Groovy Soca set by DJ Jizza accompanied by complementary Jell-O-Shotz. After a nice warm-up session, D' Soca Lyon took over to turn up the heat with some nice Crop Over. After a second set by DJ Jizza it was time for DJ Fiber who was also invited to come help shell down while Jizza continued hosting the event. Some official video footage has been recorded of the madness that went down at Brasil Bar which should be released next week. -
The Revelation of Angels & Jab Jab
This year’s theme for Rotterdam Carnival events is “The Revelation of Angels and Jab Jab”. The theme is based on the Chinese Philosophy of Yin and Yang and is inspired by a combination of the modern day Caribbean carnival aspects as well as the more traditional Jab Molassie culture better known in Grenada as Jab Jab.

Theme announcement for Rotterdam Carnival 2020 (Zomercarnaval)
First off we would like to wish everybody an abundance of blessings in love, health and prosperity for the year 2020! Last year we revealed the revelation between Angels & Jab Jab. We’ve learned that no matter how different we might think we are amongst each other, we all bleed the same color as we are all one, one human race. Zomercarnaval 2019 made it clear that we must start to behave in such matter and start uniting as one to build a better future for ourselves and our generations to come. -
Time for a special thank you at a Caribbean B-Day Bash celebration in Club Laxx Rotterdam
After our successful debut liming on the road with Awókey Mas Freedom Limerz for Zomercarnaval Rotterdam 2019, we would once again like to say thanks to all of you who joined us in help making this day a success. From the whole Awókey Mas Crew (Awókey Entertainment), our wonderful volunteers and of course not to forget our beautiful freedom liming masqueraders.

Time to hit those schoolbooks again but first things first!
Amsterdam: September 23rd at Brasil Music Bar
First and foremost a very big thank you to all the true supporters that showed love at the second edition of Waistline Shotz “Groovy Sundayz”. The deejays goal was to prepare fetters for Notting Hill Carnival by teaching them to drive big trucks , helping them keep up (CUKU) and other vibrating soca shots that had waistlines moving all over the dance floor. The goal was accomplished because the fetters stated, "When we dead!!! Put Jab Jab on we tombstone."
