Allianz Entertainment congratulates Joanne Lopes as this year's Summer Carnival Queen. The 22-year old Aruban beauty was elected last Saturday in Eclipse nightclub for her dazzling costume as well as her dancing and entertaining qualities. "This is how a queen should be; innovative and a bit traditional" said the jury.
Approximately three hundred people were present in Eclipse nightclub in Rotterdam to see the finale. The newly crowned queen of the Summer Carnival was thrilled with her award and expressed: "I am Summer Carnival"
Not all original queens participated in the finale. Two of the eight finalists were disqualified because their agreements with the sponsors had not been fulfilled. This Saturday you can admire Joanne Lopes and her group, Kingdoms Under The Sun, at the 28th edition of Rotterdam's Summer Carnival. ---
